Boytsov A. G., Kachko V. V., Kuritsyn D. N. Abstract. Object of research is the process of obtaining a permanent joints by the welding by friction with stirring in relation to the materials and construction of aerospace engineering. The development of modern technology necessitates the use of lightweight structural materials to reduce the weight of the structure of the product while maintaining the strength and performance characteristics. These materials include metal alloys, aluminium and titanium groups.Made in recent years studies have shown that the connection of structures from aluminium alloys the most efficient is a technology FSW (Friction Stir Welding). But at the moment this technology has a number of problems: necessity of bulky, expensive equipment for high quality welds; lack of equipment and technologies for field repair work. The purpose of this work is to test modes and conditions of the High-Speed Friction Stir Welding (HS FSW) for obtaining permanent link aerostructures high operational characteristics at low cost of the production cycle. This report presented an overview of existing methods of welded joints in авиаракетостроении, held the collection of scientific and technical information and preliminary analysis of a range of methods and technological tools. In the main part of the work results of research on the experimental development of technological modes and conditions of mixing friction welding results of research of influence of the basic technological parameters on the quality of the obtained compounds. In the course of execution of work design of special technological equipment, proposed the design of a tool for realization of the process of friction welding mixing. Researches were carried out on specially developed installation with spindle hub, providing the frequency of rotation of the welding tool to 18 000 rpm. The result of the work was to determine the optimal modes and conditions of operation of friction welding with agitation, disclosure of physical mechanisms of the formation of welded connection without melting of the material. Development of the process HS FSW gives a possibility to considerably reduce the size, weight, and cost of equipment for FSW by reducing the forces applied to the design. Keywords: Friction stir welding; Processing equipment; The tool; Aero-space technics; Quality of welded connection.
