MAIN PROBLEMS OF RUSSIAN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Abstract.

Recently there has been a rather difficult situation in the engineering industry. The paper presents the main problems of engineering. Analyzed their causes. Proposed objectives and directions to overcome the problems. The basic technology influencing the development of mechanical engineering at the moment. The basic objective of development of mechanical engineering. Set priority tasks for its implementation.
Need to solve the following problems:
1. Improve the competitiveness of engineering products based on the use of new technologies;
2. Improve the investment attractiveness of companies in the industry, including for foreign investment;
3. Expand markets machinery products, including by improving customs and tariff policy and export support;
4. Restructure engineering sector, including industry research institutions and organizations;
5. Improve the provision of scientific and highly skilled personnel.
