THE CALCULATION OF THE STIFFNESS OF JOINTS WITH ELASTIC ELEMENTS IN THE FORM OF STEEL BARS OF ROUND SECTION

Abstract. Couplings with elastic elements are often used in drives of machines to reduce dynamic loads and levels of torsional oscillations amplitudes. For effective work of couplings is very important to know their basic characteristic is the rigidity. To implement the calculated values of hardness system sections in practice it is convenient with the help of joints with elastic elements. The most rational is the coupling with metal elastic elements, allowing you to accurately calculate the actual size of elastic elements that provide the estimated rigidity. The article deals with the sleeves with steel bars, round in section. Schemes of loading and deformation of cores when running couplings three variants: with continuous, piecewise linear and non-linear characteristics. The detailed analysis of deformation rods with transmission clutch torque. Using a differential equation of the bending of the rod, the expressions allowing to determine the torsional rigidity of the clutches of all three.
